Systester
System Stability Tester (Systester) is a free, open source, lightweight & cross platform stability testing and benchmarking tool supporting a great range of platforms. System Stability Tester allows one to benchmark and stress-test computer systems configuring the level of the pressure applied by specifying the number of PI digits to be calculated up to 128 millions and the number of threads to be used up to 32 threads. In addition, the software implements two different PI calculation algorithms. The project was initially developed and led by Lucas Tsatiris which ensured a high quality result at the time. I was responsible for the Qt3 -> Qt4 transition of the project, the Gauss-Legendre algorithm implementation and various other smaller fixes and tasks.
